Throughout the year we grow a variety of salad leaves and lettuces of all kinds, rocket, Chinese leaves, purslane, endive, spinach, and in season: basil, tomatoes, cucumbers and much more to keep your salad bowl full.

A bag of Sweet Genovese basil. Infinitely more aromatic and delicious than the pot-grown, chemically fertilised basil you find in the supermarkets.

A sweet, red pointed pepper.   Our pepper season has come to an end and these are now coming from organic growers in Spain.

Our homegrown tomatoes are available from July until late October. For those of you who like to see a tomato or two in their kitchen for the rest of the year, we source tomatoes from other growers in the UK. When there are no organic tomatoes left in the country, we source them from France, Italy or Spain.

Salad onion

A bunch of fragrant, freshly harvested coriander. Make the most of it while you can.

A lovely tasty lettuce with oak leaf shaped leaves. You won't find these in the supermarket.

Oak leaf lettuce

Our tender new season carrots. Couldn't be fresher if you lifted them from your own garden.

Store your carrots in a bag or sealed container (in the fridge); this prevents moisture loss from the tops which makes the carrots go soft. We remove most of the tops from our bunching carrots so they stay fresh and crunchy for longer.
