Re-use, repair, recycle, compost

We deliver our produce in reusable boxes and aim to re-use each box 20 times. Each week they are cleaned and repaired. You can help us to reduce our impact on the environment and achieve our target of 20 deliveries, by collapsing and storing your box in a clean, dry place and putting it out for collection next time you have a delivery. If it looks like rain, please protect the box by putting it in a clean bin bag which we will return to you. Many thanks for your help!

When our hard working boxes finally give up, we recycle them.

Most items in your veg box will be packed loose, if we need to use bags, they will be paper or home compostable. This means that there is no plastic in the bag and it will break down into natural constituents very quickly in a basic compost heap. Adding some fresh grass clipping or other green material will boost the decompostion of the bags by increasing warmth and moisture.
